Hi, I was born in Ranger in 1924. My parents were William Sewell "Bill" Denman and Edith Cornelius Denman. My father's sister, Jennie Maude "Jean" Sewell Williams also lived in Ranger and later my grandmother, Stella May Sewell Denman Ivey Hampton, lived and died there. I attended St. Rita's Academy for two years before we moved to East Texas. My father worked for Sinclair Oil and Gas. My maternal grandparents also lived there: Walter L. Cornelius and Julia Tackett Cornelius. They had nine children, most of whom attended Ranger schools. If you knew any of my family, or if you have biographical information on them, I'd love to see it.
