    3. If you live in Texas, you can now go to your local City Hall and get birth certificates for any town in Texas . They have a web connection to the state offices and print your certificates right there and hand them to you. Seems like it only starts with 1926 though. For death certificates, you have to go to the city hall of the town where the person died. I went to the Eastland Co. Courthouse several months ago to get my grandfather's death certificate, and it wasn't there. They told me to go to the City Hall in Cisco to get it, and sure enough it was there. Go to this web site and you can print out the form to order birth and death certificates from the state. www.tdh.state.tx.us/bvs/registra/bcdcapp.htm Deborah (Johnson) Maston ----- Original Message ----- From: Nancy Curtis Eurich <nceurich@earthlink.net> To: <TXEASTLA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 22, 2000 3:56 PM Subject: Re: resources available > I could use some help there too.
