    3. Could the list mom or somebody else let us know what resources are available for Eastland County, TX? Do any of the libraries have census on microfilm, or printed lists in books? Are there genealogy books in the libraries? Do either of the colleges have genealogy info or books? Lots of people are looking for obituaries and want to know if newspapers are on microfilm. Rootsweb Lists that I belong to in other states and counties have web pages with a list of look-up people. We don't seem to have that. There must be somebody or several people that have books of genealogy info that could do look-ups. Other counties have lots of resources on their web page such as marriage lists, cemetery lists, and even the census. Our county is way behind everybody else. What can we do about it? I lived in Eastland Co. up until I got married, but now live just one county away. The last few months I have done quite a few look-ups for queries on this Eastland list. (Sorry to say that I have not been very successful in finding a lot of the people that I searched for.) But I do the look-ups when I go to the Fort Worth, TX Library. They have the 3 volume set of the cemetery listings of Eastland Co. There is also a birth and death index starting at 1903 on microfilm. Seems like I got a notice a few months back that the Eastland Co. Genealogical Society had disbanded. I guess they would be the ones responsible for doing look-ups. Deborah (Johnson) Maston

    3. I could use some help there too. I need the name of a person that would be able to make copies of documents such as Death records, birth records, etc. Is there a person in Eastland Co., that would do this? Where would records like this be?
