I am researching WHITE HENLEY and CARTER families that came to Gorman, TX from DeSoto County in the early 1900's. John and Mary White CARTER are buried in the Gorman Cemetery. I would love to hear from their descendants. Henry and Elizabeth Ellen WHite HENLEY settled in the Kokomo area and lived there until about 1920 with their children, Julius, Horace, Birdie, Floy, Luther. James Wesley and Eula Henley WHITE lived in the Eastland area. Annie White HUTCHERSON and her two children Stanley and Wilma lived with the Henleys in Kokomo for a while.
