The letter was mailed in Cisco Tx., 25 miles west of Ranger, 4 months +4 days after it was written. In it Matilda said that she would be 86 years old on the 29th of Oct 1924, which means that she was born sometime in 1838? She also mentioned that she hadn't seen Julie and Levin for over 10 years. We believe that they were one of the wagons that were with my grandparents who arrived in Torrance County New Mexico about 1911 If anyone is interested in reading the letter, e-mail me direct and I can down-load you a copy that I have transcribe exactly as it was written. e-mail address: freorden@aol.com Thanks for reading, Freddie B.
