It is not really clear since some of the pertinent census records are missing. however i will explain it briefly tonight, its very late and i cant go into it in detail but will discuss it later with you at greater detail if you like. I am not positive that i have it positively correct. some of it is guess, but the evidence is very good. I believe that lucy perkins was the daughter of John W Perkins b 1818 ky and his second wife kate Baldridge. You will find him on the 1880 Denton co census pct 4 , d106 Image 104.Lucy was not yet born but her step sister anna Baldridge is there and I think she is the one who married James Mcquinn. In the 1870 census for grayson texas Pct1, Image 104 John perkiins is still with his first wife Rebecca, and they have a dauther betsy who I think was living in the household ! of james Mcquinn and Annie in the 1900 census, Denton Texas , d52, Jp4 Image 6. Also, Rebecca J Perkins, who is John perkins daughter, Married Sim B Mcquinn 5 Oct 1880 texas. Any way ,Lucy Perkins Married James Robert Smith, My great Uncle and had 2 children , Bernice and James. After James Robert died, Lucy Married Tucker and I think she may have had a child by him , Wilson. When Tucker died she Married a John Price and Moved to Las animas county, Colorado. She is found with him in the 1920 census there.
