Ministers Roger Johnson and Andy McDonald officiated. Burial was at Flower Mound Cemetery. Mrs. Thiede died August 30 in a car accident. She was born November 8, 1925. Mrs. Thiede was a licensed vocational nurse and worked at both the Lewisville and Grapevine Nursing Homes. She earned her nursing degree at the Denton School of Vocational Nursing on May 1, 1970. Mr. and Mrs. Thiede were married September 11, 1943 and Jeanette was adopted in May, 1964. Survivors include her widower, Homer Thiede of Lewisville, one daughter, Jeanette of Lewisville, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Wood of Coppell; one sister, Freda Morris of Lewisville, two brothers, Herschel Wood of Lewisville and Kenneth Wood of Irving.
