I find that other researchers continue to say she died in Texas , some saying Denton TX, But no one can produce a date or place of burial. Mary Ann Johnson was born Mary Ann MACON, in Upson County Georgia in 1825 to Pleasant Macon & Nancy Gray...she was an ancestor also to the famed Nathaniel Macon, a North Carolina senator........She married David J jOHNSON, they moved to Texas and last I find Mary Ann was in Mc Colloch County Tx, living as a widow at age 54 with some of her almost grown children, after that I have not been able to locate her........til others have said she died in Denton Texas...THIS IS A COMMON NAME, how can I find out if it is the person I am looking for....is there anyone who finds Mary Ann Johnson buried anywhere is denton County? please help
