As I recall, the Daugherty family donated a large set of handpainted china to the Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum. It is white with a gold rim and a D in the center of each piece. It is on display in the Bayless-Selby House located south of the square near the corner of Carroll Blvd and Sycamore Streets. Go to this link for more information on the china. \http://dentoncounty.com/dept/main.asp?Dept=72&Link=402 ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <TXDENTON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 02, 2007 3:50 PM Subject: [TXDENTON] Daugherty and Lovejoy > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Daugherty/Lovejou > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.texas.counties.denton/2724/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Someone told me that the Museum on the Square had some Daugherty memorbia > that was donated by the family of Charles Lindsay and Alberta Felicia > Daugherty.
