The only two brothers she had were John and Joe Baker. Her parents were John F. Baker and Amanda Lynch Baker. Her Baker grandparents were Edwin Baker and Verlatia Moore Baker. All born in Texas except Edwin and Verlatia They were born in Illinois. I have not come across a Richard Baker, but John F Baker had a twin brother named George W. Baker. You might try that branch of the family. He lived in Denton, also. I understand there is another Baker family there but didn't get into that part of it. If you find he was related to my Bakers, please let me know. Nell.................

Yes, I know that Washington Roach is not buried there, unless it is an unmarked grave. All the Roach's buried there are my relatives. Mary Ellen Roach, Washignton Roach's wife is buried there and there is an unmarked grave very close to her, but do not know how to find out for sure if it is Washington. The Care Taker of Old Alton showed me that there was a grave by Mary Ellen, but there seems to be no records that I can find. Do you know of any. Carol

    3. A number of ROACHes lived in Collin County and in the past the boundaries between Collin and Denton Counties changed. The person interested in Washington ROACH should probably check that county if you haven't already.
