Wesley Y. Seale had a daughter Louisa Seale who married WIlliam Hayhurst. I think the Seale's and William Hayhurst moved out to Collingsworth and Wheeler Counties in the Panhandle around 1900. I have a letter that WY Seale wrote to my 2nd gr grandfather in 1884 about some land he had in Denton County, if you are interested.

If so, I will email the obituaries there. I also have a photograph of Zeke's wife's grave. His was never marked.

Elizabeth was a cousin to Effie and Robert. Mrs. Anthony was a high school teacher of mine. She never met Robert, but knew of him as Uncle Bob. She just remembered him living in Oklahoma or New Mexico. That was my second source. In Nancy Roark's obituary, it says he was living in Wichita Falls. But he is not in the city directory (though several of her sons from the first marriage are). In William's obituary, he says "it is believed he has a son living in Oklahoma City". Other than this WWI draft card, he doesn't appear in the records at all. I can' t find him on the 1920 or 1930 Census in Texas, Oklahoma or New Mexico.

I know that I was told when I was a kid that Uncle Bob had died in the 1950's in New Mexico because I wondered why I had never met him. I never heard different and he was never mentioned in the present tense. Also, he was not mentioned as a survivor in my grandma Effie's obit in the 1960's. He would have been 93- 94 in 1982 and that was rather old compared to the ages to which most of his relatives lived. I just want a little more info before I decide for sure. Can you tell me, who else told you he died in N.M.?
