I know nothing about her family except the name was Martha McFarland or McFarlane Turpen. She married James F. Turpen/Turpin. She is buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Corinth, Denton Co., TX. If they are related, yours could be buried there too. Do you know of anyone b. during that time that might match up to my Martha?

He died in 1949. I don't know how long they were married. Annie is buried next to Millard but there is no marker for her. When my Aunt Lottie Brown Ogles put up the marker she did not include her stepmothers name. This bothers me and I want to add her name or put up a small marker for her. They are buried in the Sanger Cemetery. His name is listed in the cemetery records but hers is not. I want to know when she was born and when she died.

I got so bummed out on trying to trace the Brown family that I gave up. We did get a descendant of our Browns to do the DNA test as part of the Brown surname DNA Project with FTDNA so he is documented. Bonita, Contrary to other messages, Roselawn is a major cemeterty for the City of Denton. My husband remembers Johnny Wayne Pennington as a very nice young man, who graduated from DHS in 1951. He also seems to remember that Johnny Wayne's father worked at Kimball Mill. If you do not find a family member, I will be glad to get his obituary for you. There is a Roselawn Cemetery in Denton, but it's burials are not on the Internet. It is in the SW corner of the City of Denton and it the primary site of burials in Denton at this time. It is a large cemetery.
