I am searching for information regarding William Harrison Slack, M. D. in Dallas County in the mid to late 1800's. He was born in 1815 in Ill. and married Mary Floyd in 1849 in Union County, KY. WF 24 Texas Lena WF 4 Texas Slack, Willie*** WM 14 Texas ***Willie or William A. Slack is listed with Thomas Floyd Family in 1870 after listed with William H. Slack in 1860. Thomas Floyd is a brother of Mary Floyd. A Dr. Slack gave a child to Rebecca Floyd Hart and John Hart per letter written during Civil War from Frances "Fannie" Floyd Crutchfield to her sister Susan Floyd Good. (Child named Nannie Slack Floyd b April 18, 1863 d July 22, 1879 buried in Cox Cemetery in Dallas beside Nathaniel Floyd.)
