SURNAMES: BLEDSOE, BUCKINGHAM, FREEMAN, HAMBY or HANBY, PERRY Desperately trying to find out what happened to 2 FREEMAN sisters who were b in Lincoln Co, TN abt 1862 - 1885, the daus of A C (Achilles, was called "Killus" or "Killis") FREEMAN and his wife, Mary Ann PERRY. Both sisters are thought to have moved to TEXAS abdout 1900. They are: Alice FREEMAN who prob married a Robert HAMBY / HANBY, and is supposed to have had a son, Eugene HAMBY / HANBY, b abt 1890. Lula /Lulu (short for Louise / Louisa / or ? ! ?) - all I have is her name. They apparently visited relatives in TN in the late 1800's or early 1900's as a niece of theirs, Lillie FREEMAN (later married Boone HARRIS), 1890 - 1987 [dau of their older brother, Jack FREEMAN 1860 - 1924, and his wife, Lucy Elizabeth BUCKINGHAM 1863 - 1918, both buried Florence, AL where they later lived], remembered them. I have finally located BLEDSOE descendants of their sister, Sarah Frances "Sally" FREEMAN b 1870, who married abt 1884 in TN Marion Fletcher BLEDSOE. Sally was a small, red haired woman and had: Alva (Cecil) BLEDSOE 1886-1963, m 1908 Elva Floena WIMBERLY 1889 Italy, TX - 1918.They had 2 ch: Elva Ganelle 1909-1995 (m Leroy KEMP, no ch) and Mary Cecile b 1916 Ferris, TX who m Charles HEWLETT 1916-1971 (2 ch: William Raymond b 1945 and Sulynn b 1953) Ganelle BLEDSOE 1894-1898, died of spinal meningitis stillborn twin and the other twin, Callie, d young from a drowning James Eulys BLEDSOE, 1891-1993, yes d when 101 years old, supposedly moved to TX with his family abt 1900-1908, 1m 1913 Mary GERMANY b 1896 Chatfield, TX, div abt 1925, had 2 ch: James Eulys "Dick" Jr 1914-1981 and Porter BLEDSOE of Dallas, TX; 2m Neta Luceale THOMASON b 1908 Clovis, NM, had 2 daus: Neta (Joanna) BLEDSOE b 1943 and Linda Marie BLEDSOE b 1946, d 1980 (m Bill BALLARD, no ch) Bertrand Harwell BLEDSOE 1896 Petersburg, TN - 1946 Ferris, TX; 1m Fay WICKER 1898-1934; 2m Polly ______; Bertrand had 2 sons: Bertrand Jr b 1921 who lived Arlington, TX and James Marion. Moses 18?? Tom I've given these details about FREEMAN cousins in hopes that someone might recognize a name or place. I'm pretty sure that Alice and Lula /Lulu went to TEXAS, B U T WHERE ? and what happened to them? I had hoped I could find Alice's family thru her son, Eugene HAMBY or HANBY, but so far have found nothing. Any help, clues, ideas, leads will be most gratefully appreciated as I am trying to compile all the descendants of A C (Achilles) FREEMAN and Mary Ann PERRY.
