I am looking for info that will tell me WHERE James Arwine & wife Mary lived in Irving and info giving me a clue as to why James Arwine and his wife Mary Martin Arwine lived in Irving, Dallas County, Texas rather than in Birdville, Tarrant County, Texas with their children and friends who came from the general area of Brown County, Indiana. James Arwine had a son, Daniel Arwine whose wife was Julia Barrow Arwine. Julia's sister is Mahala Barrow Butcher. Mahala was listed on the 1870 census of Dallas County in the household of James and Mary Arwine, another mystery. Any info on these people would be appreciated Arwine, James James Arwine & wife, Mary Martin (Parents of Daniel Arwine) *(below info on James Arwine from John Arwine booklet pub. by Brown County, Indiana Gen. Daniel Arwine had donated land for a school and cemetery, they were both named the Arwine School and Arwine Cemetery.) James and Mary married before 1824, probably in Anderson Co., Tenn. (as eldest son, John S. Arwine, was born ther Jan 4, 1824) Arwine, James was also a member of the Grand Prarie Masonic Lodge. I found this info in a Texas State Masonic book listing masonic members deaths for 1879(Book found at the Texas State Library). Arwine, Mary Martin, wife of James Arwine.
