He was in the U. S. Coast Guard 1942-1945; employed by Adleta Showcase and Fixture Mfg. Co. 1945-1983. Jerry's hobbies included deer hunting, antiques, furniture refinishing, collecting guns, knives and Frankoma Pottery. He loved the outdoors and working in his tree farm. Preceded in death by parents, Barney & Aline Bickle. Survived by wife, Marjorie Bickle; daughters, Beverly Fournier, Betty Bucher & husband, Bill; grandson, Avery Bruce; granddaughter, Molly Hatton & husband, Josh; great grandson, Evan Hatton; sisters, Janice Hastings & Imogene Landrum. Memorial services will be 11:00AM Friday, April 15, 2005, at the New Covenant United Methodist Church, 3032 N. Beltline Rd., Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Interment following at Long Creek Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00PM 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's A! ssociation.
