Schmidt and his patrol partner, Lee Peyton/Payton when they served in Dallas Police Department during 1951-1953? They were involved in a shot gun incident of some sort. Also, my Dad campaigned for a guy named SAM PETTIGREW who ran for the Dallas County Commissioners Court, may have even run as a county judge, during the same time period. I'd like to know some more information about Mr. Pettigrew and why that particuliar race was so controversial. ALL information will be appreciated!!!!!!!!
