Hi Bonnie, I couldn't find his obit in the archives of The Dallas Morning News: http://www.dallasnews.com/archive/ You can still try the Obituary Lookup Volunteers (they also have a mailing list): http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~obitl/ He died in Dallas County but he may have lived out of town. And his obituary may have been published there. His death certificate would tell you where he's buried.
