I was interested in your post to Tom concerning the Fritts and Johnson surnames. My step-grandmother was Lillian Della Frits, and her mother's name was Johnson. She married my grandfather, Charles Weaver in about 1903. They parted after 1910 and Lillian and her two daughters moved to California where I found her married to Gleason in the 1920 census. I found her again in the 1930 census married to Hugo Carlson and living in Contra Costa County, California. Any connection?
