Hi, Saw your message. RAOGK stands fpr Random Acts Of Genealogy Kindness. It is my understanding that site is where you may or will get people that will do some searching for you. I just discovered that sight by a friend. You may have to go into the area that you are searching. I believe they only request that you do the same for someone else. I had a gentleman in Texas found a lot of good information for me. Try it see what happens. You may have to type in the state you need assistance with. I try to help sometime. I go to Washington D.C. to the Archives, Library of Congress and DAR. We have a group that goes once a month. If I can help you at all I try. My research is slower because I do not access to this information where I am, which is Maryland. I was able to find military records for 2 people. I only charge for the photo copying.
