Hart in heaven on Friday, August 9, 2002. He was born on October 20, 1927 In Texarkana, Texas. John was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church for over 50 years and also a member of the Knights of Columbus. John proudly served his country during World War II as a Staff Sergeant with the E-60 Infantry Regiment in the United States Army. He was employed by Borden Milk as a Vault Supervisor for 42 years. His outgoing personality was one of his greatest gifts. He gave so much and expected so little in return, words cannot express our loss. He is survived by five daughters Mary Jane Marshall and Camille Crawson and her husband Ken of Dallas, Vera Webster of Coppell, Esther Roth and her husband Dennis Gentry of Waxahachie, and Ella Marie Denett of Chatsworth, Georgia, one son John Benton Hart of Stevenson Ranch, California one brother Lester Hart of Mesquite, TX, one sister Derrell Lee Gilbert o! f Nash, TX, 19 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be 10 am, Tuesday, August 13, 2002 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 1054 N. St. Augustine, Dallas, TX. Interment will follow at Calavary Hill Cemetery. John will be carried to his final resting place by his grandsons Jeremy Roth, Joshua Gentry, Chad Marshall, J. P. Howell, John Crawson, Jody Crawson and Justin Webster. Honorary Pallbearers will be Grady Gentry, Jr., Jerry Gentry, Gene Gentry, Alton Burt, Ernie Glazener and Ralph Navarino, Sr. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 pm with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 pm at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will also begin Tuesday morning at 9 am until service time at the church.
