I'm looking for the parents of Melinda Frances Martin b. 10/24/1859 in Dallas, TX of Cherokee parents. I'm told that her parent's are bur'd under what is now Main St. in Dallas, TX. Melinda mar'd Thomas John Downey 10/28/1879 somewhere in TX. They moved to Denison (Fannin), TX and had one dau. Eursley Jane Downey, b. 10/18/1882. Melinda d. 8/19/1883 in Lebanon, OK. She was bur'd under what is now Lake Texhoma. I assume her grave was moved but cannot find it. Does anyone out there have any ideas on where to look? ~ Kal
