Hi! I'm new to the Dallas County Mailing List. I recently found out I have ties to Texas. One of my relatives, Arnold D. Brooks, lived in Paris and Dallas for part of his life. He was born 1835 in New York, and died in 1912. His wife was: Mary (Craddock), born 1846 in Texas, and died 1927. In the 1880 Census Arnold Brooks is listed as a 'gambler.' Children: Mary L; Helen; Ada; Ettie; Maud. Johnson W. Hale born 1867 Texas Wife: Ada (Brooks) born 1874 Texas. Any information or ideas about these people would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
