Hello, Thank you so much for responding to my message. I don't know if I am related to those folks or not. My Spilman/Spillman family came to Dallas Co., TX from Allen Co., KY around 1870, and were descendants of Spilmans who settled in the Northern Neck of VA in the 1600's; those Spilmans came from England. My grandmother's mother was Lou Ann BUTLER, of Old Rocky Hill, Barren Co., KY, whose grandmother was Elizabeth HUFFMAN, who was a descendant of Spillmans who came from Germany. I have LOTS of information on the Spilman/Spillman family. Alida Spillman was the daughter of Mary Ann Anderson and Elijah SPILLMAN, also from Allen Co., KY. They came to Dallas Co. around 1850. I know lots of folks from that area of KY came to Dallas, Collin, Denton, and Grayson Counties, and it's possible that my Spillmans are related to the ones you mentioned.
