Hello, Listers: My family originally started off in the following counties: Cass, Collin, Denton. The HARRINGTON's/WELLS -- Collin County. The EPPS -- Dave, Charlie, Amanda, Pat, settled in Collin county (Celina). (1870) The CRUTCHFIELD's hailed mainly from Denton County (Denton, Lewisville) -- James, George, David, Joe, Alvis. The HODGE's -- Martha, from Davis/Cass County (Linden). The HARE/HAIR/HAIRE's -- Davis/Cass County (Linden). The PEACE's -- Denton County (Denton) The WELLS -- Denton County (Prosper) The SIMS -- Collin County (Celina) All of my ancestors made their way to Dallas, TX, eventually, away from the farming areas of the above, especially after 1940's. My family is African-american. I'm still trying to pull the pieces of family together with birth/death dates, marriage names, etc. Looking forward to some great genealogy tips from any volunteers!
