OK I think I got ya, I think this Twin infant was born in Harrah Oklahoma Co., Okla. and prob. passed there as her father is in Memory Lane. Two son's of the couple here WM Earnest & Annie Knight Ward are located in in Memory Lane. I think this this line is down to one survivor now. They have no record's on the unmarked graves in the cemetery books at Prospect unless someone sunmit's the information. But that gives me a tought I can ask the caretaker who generally services the cemetery but i bet it will be Asa Smith Funeral Chapel in Harrah, Ok if it goes back that far. They serviced several other family memebers located in Memory Lane in Harrah, Okla. no... am saying that funeral homes are normally the ones who obtains information FOR the death certificate, and submits the information, not just for the official record, but often for the obituaries as well. I think one of those you mention was born in 1925, and was the one with a twin? Given the area, it is very possible that this mortuary may have those records. It was my understanding from the posting that you hope to confirm that the children (etc) are buried there? Further, mortuaries (given that they do the actual burials) are likely to know the specifics of who is buried in a location, even with no tombstone. If they don't know, the logical next question is "can you tell me who might have that information?". __________________________________ Yahoo! Becky- yes, I hang out on the Dallas list too. Yrs ago, I made the acquaintance of a nice mortician, who kindly gave me a copy of his business directory for the country. Shawnee, Okla is the county seat, and on the page for that town is an advertisement for Gaskill Funeral Chapel, 405-275-0371. Their ad says in business since 1914. Tribbey has no listing of any funeral home at all. __________________________________ Yahoo! FareChase: Search multiple travel sites in one click. http://farechase.yahoo.com

Joan: just a hint, death certificates might give a clue as to a family member as the personal information part is quite often filled in by a family member, and relationship should be indicated. I found the married name of a daughter in this fashion. Also gives the funeral home to which the deceased is released to, at what address the deceased was living at time of death, etc., so city directories could be searched, and funeral home contacted as they keep good records, and might still be in operation so you could contact them directly by mail. Hope this helps. Aileen

Just an FYI. If you are needing several articles from the Dallas Morning News you might want to consider subscribing to the Godfrey Library. For a very nominal price per year ($35.00) you have access to the Dallas Morning News from 1885 to 1977. It is indexed and searchable. You also get access to Heritage Quest census images, lots of other major newspapers, and all sorts of other resources. I subscribed a couple of months ago and it has been fantastic. You can go to _www.godfrey.org_ (http://www.godfrey.org) Take care - Emma
