    1. Re: [TXDALLAS] Re: TXDALLAS-D Digest V06 #20
    2. Hi Sadie, Thank you for your email. In searching the 1910 and 1920 Texas Census I found Henry Weaver in 1910 and Henry E. Weaver in 1920 (same family) living in Tarrant County. Henry was listed as a Locomotive Engineer. Also, Henry had a son named Ledford. In some of Ledford's papers he mentioned that his father's name was Henry Ellis Weaver. For these two reasons, I do not believe that Edward E. Weaver, an attorney, is the person I am looking for. Henry Ellis Weaver was born in Tennessee in 1859, and would have been about 67 or 68 years old when he died. Also, since he lived in Tarrant County for so many years, maybe he died in Dallas County but lived in Tarrant County when he died and his obituary may be posted in Ft. Worth, or maybe his death notice was posted in one of the other Dallas Papers. I do not know the circumstances of Henry Ellis Weaver's death but there is an Ellis Weaver listed in the Texas Death Index as dying in Dallas County 4 Sept. 1926, case number 31089. There may be a record of this in the Dallas Public Library. I think 4 Sept. 1926 is a good time frame as I was unable to find Henry in the 1930 Census. In 1920, he lived in Ft. Worth, was Wd. and had three children living with him: They were, Lorine, abt 15 yrs old; Helen, abt 9 yrs old; and Charls, abt 7 yrs old. I believe Henry Ellis had another son, Homer C. Weaver, who may have died in Bexar County Texas, according to the Texas Death Index, 25 Mar. 1962, number 12791. If possible, I would like a lookup for Homer also. Thank you so very much for your help.
