If those documents on Oakland Cemetery are at the Dallas Public Library then I wonder if my library can get them on loan. Do you know how they do that? I also found on the Heritage website (can't remember the name of it) that there are 18 rolls at the FHL in Salt Lake City. I'm wondering if my Family History Center can get those. Harold, the Caretaker there, has many file drawers of index cards that show the names, sections, lots, etc., and will show visitors the exact location using a large wall map. I also have many buried in Oakland, but am not aware of anything on the internet. Harold did say that the manual documents for Oakland burials from Loudermilk>Sparkman funeral homes had all been filmed and were available at the Dallas Public Library. Good luck. ..............Fred

When I visited Oakland Cemetery a couple of years ago, I got the information from the Dallas Library. Then I went to the cemetery and the caretaker there was able to pull out a plat that told where my g-grandmother was buried. It is a very large place and not very well taken care of.
