    3. My mother is writing about some of her memories of the early 1930's and remembers that some of the boys belonged to an organization which required them to wear uniforms and "Sam Brown Belts". My uncle belonged and went to North Side High School in Ft. Worth. She can't remember what they were called (she is 88 years young). I've looked all over the internet in an attempt to find the name of the organization but have been unsuccessful. I checked the CAP but that started in 1941 and I doubt that the Jr. ROTC was in existence then either. Can anyone help? Barbara Leland [email protected]

I was also told that he was the first cheif of police in Dallas texas. He had Married Annie Cavin in the 1910's their first child Robert was born in Maude, Oklahoma in 1916 then their second son was born in Ardmore,ok. in 1918. Their daughter was born in Bur kburnett,tx in 1923. I know this family moved around a bit, and Robert and Annie were divorced about 1931. He was a law man most of his life. I am also told that he had other family that lived in the Irving area, but I dont know this to be fact. If anyone knows anything about this family Please contact me.
