    3. Hi Melinda, 2. I only found these 2 children in the TX Birth Records. It appears the male child was stillborn. Nita Correl LAMB, male, born 7 Jul 1938 in Dallas Co., to Collie Elizabeth KILGORE and Ntah Correl LAMB Minnie Joyce LAMB, female, born 7 Jun 1939 in Dallas Co., to Elizabeth CALLIE and Utah LAMB 3. There were 23 Callie Elizabeths who died in TX. One in 1970. All the others died after 1979. There was no one named Collie Elizabeth who died in TX. Do you have any other way to identify Wanda? A first name or initial, middle name or initial, last name or initial? There were 12 Wandas who died in Dallas Co. in 1979. And 15 who died in Dallas Co. in 1980. It occurred before, by or after July 1946. It was between the following parties: Callie Elizabeth Kilgore-Lamb and Utah Carroll Lamb. In the legalities, it probably listed that Callie was an alcoholic as well Utah. They had 4 children (Carl, Minnie, Wanda and Paul). Maybe somebody could email me if they could do a lookup on Ancestry.com or where-ever for the births of some of their children.

My husband is Russell Black. His mother was Wanda Lamb, grandmother was Callie Elizabeth Kilgore-Lamb and her great-grandparents were Luke and Minnie Kilgore. Now what I need is a lookup for the Dallas census of 1940, 1950 and 1960 and their names would be either Luke or Lucas and Minnie Kilgore. I am waiting to get a response on the church address that they lived near and that will give me a better idea what part of Dallas that they lived at back then. The church was the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Also could somebody do a lookup after Oct. 10, 1975-1980 for the death information of Callie Elizabeth Kilgore-Lamb now maybe Callie's name had changed because she married about 8 times and her first husband was Utah C. Lamb and one of her other husbands was a John Worthy. So try the names Kilgore, Lamb or Worthy and see if you have any luck. Thank you for all your efforts regarding this. Melinda in PA

    3. I had exactly the same experience with the same map at Archives. I also found an error in the only street address I looked up in the 1930 San Antonio index on microfilm there (an apparent typo, which I reported). I have not found a good ED map of Dallas for 1930 but have found Dr. Morse's site very useful for obtaining EDs. Mapquest's modern maps are also useful in some cases. Joel Weintraub's Yahoo groups site describes the EDs' boundaries for Dallas and several other cities. Good luck!
