My ggf, William H. Murray b. IL 1861 m. Vesta Norman b. IL 1861. They moved to Dallas and then to Hillsboro, Hill Co. about 1900. He worked at both places for the MKT (Missouri, Kansas, Texas) RR. as a car inspector. I don't know what happened to them after that. Looking for J.O. and Katie CHESTER bd 1867 who lived and traveled all over Texas from the New Mexico border to Lamar County and places a bit north and south of that line. In 1915 to 1920 they lived in Lamar County at Garrets Bluff. They lived in Childress, Floydada, Snyder, Roby, Mineral Wells, Big Springs and a lot of other places. John Felix Austin was born in AR in 1900 and was Katie's son by a former marriage. He was a salesman for Wallace Studios in the 1940s, working around Lubbock and Amarillo. May Austin (Katie's Daughter) Married Marion Fransis Dwight , and in 1920 lived in Wichita Falls, and in 1930 lived in Crowell. These were on the censuses. Hi, Annie Bettie DUNHAM died 28 Oct 1981 in Dallas County. Your aunt's death certificate will name the cemetey where she's buried. You'll probably find James Edward DUNHAM buried there also. I don't know if these are their children. But a William David DURHAM Sr. died 11 Jul 1985 in Dallas County. Rebecca Eloise BATTREAL died 2 Feb 1981 in Dallas County. And I found 9 Lena Marie's who died in the 1980s and 1990s in Dallas County. Seeking info on William J. Schreffler, carpenter, listed in 1878 Dallas City Directory. (Previously found on 1870 Wilson County Kansas census). Born 31 Aug 1843 in Pennsylvania. Died 18 Jun 1898. Mary Tate (widow) listed at same address in Dallas - possibly a mother-in-law. Wife thought to be Elizabeth A. Tate who applied for his Civil War pension after his death. (He had a previous marriage to Mathilda Caroline Heitz). Children with Heitz: William and Ida. With Tate: Charles and Wade. William, Charles and Wade are found in El Paso, Texas c. 1900.
