One of GenWebs 2 main listservers has been down. During the process they planned to update and expand it's capabilities. I think it was expected to be up and running last night, so I have held off on sending out list. We had the Coryell County Genealogical Society meeting Monday night with a good turnout. Our guest speaker was our own member, Charles Reeve, who retired in 1979 after 40 years of working at the State School for Boys. A very good program with information about the educational, vocational education and the changes that time brought was enjoyed by those present. We had an update on the condition of our president, Jimmy Yates, who continues on life support. They are hoping to have him home for Christmas, but things do not look good at present. Coryell County is being blessed at the moment with very good, soaking rains. This will do much to help the entire county for we have suffered a severe drought this year. I got no response on the request to share information with this group. Each of you are free to post things to this list. I had hoped that we would have enough interaction so that I would know what you hope to learn from this list. Last week I asked for everyone whose names started with A, B, C, or D to tell us what they wanted from a Coryell County list. Again I ask you to do so, and also those whose names start with E, F, G and H. Come on, help me out here.
