    1. [TXCORYEL-L] New Week
    2. Bobbie Ross
    3. Here we are starting another week. Hope it brings genealogical rewards to each of you. I am going to respond to some of the letters you have sent in the last week: I think each of you will know who I am addressing without writing the e-mail address-Ken the Logans and Clintons are not in the 1880 census of Coryell Co.; Patty there are quite a few records relating to McIlhaney's in Coryell Co. I did some work a few years ago for a descendant from New Mexico, let us know exactly what you want, or even better place a query on the boards; Faye in the 1880 census there are no Snoddy families and a lot of Thompsons, need more to go on, a query would be a good idea, I answer most of them! John Perue, Hezekiah is in 1880 census with 4 children, guess you already have that info? Evelyn there is not a Mealer in the 1880 census; Kristy I do not find James Eaton in the 1880 census. Your best bet would be to place a query, with such an interesting story someone might remember it. Aldean, I sent you an address for Land Grants after your last message, did you not get it? On the Coryell Co. home page there is a link to the 10th Texas Infantry site, have you checked there? Those of you who sent snail mail addresses I will see that they get to the lady who does the quarterly. How about letting us hear from those whose last names start with M, N, O, P, Q, R and S. Who are you looking for? What do you hope to find in this mailing list? If you want people who are not computer enabled to help with your research, send your snail mail address. Did you notice the inter-list correspondance the last few days? That's what we need to get started, people helping people. I particularly enjoyed Wilkie and Winona's story of the LA dinner party where they discovered sharing great grandparents with their table companions. It really IS A Small world out there! Have a great week!
