I have John Mealer b. TN abt 1837 md Temperance Elliott b. 1840 TN. They came to TX in 1880s. Family says he dug water wells in Coryell County and died in an accident while digging. Temperance (Tempie) died April 21, 1923 in Coryell County and is buried at Leon Junction. Does anyone have any information about John? Evelyn Cardwell
