Grandfather: John Edward Seward, b December 1, 1860 in Huntsville, AL. Moved to Williamson County, TX in 1872. m Alizenia (Alice) Potts, November 3, 1881. Also in Coryell County by 1907. Alice Potts buried IOOF Cemetery in Gatesville. Great-Grandfather: James Robert Seward, b January 7, 1829 in Madison County, AL. Moved to Williamson County, TX in 1872. m Mary Ann Herrin, December 13, 1859, in Madison County, AL. MATERNAL: Mother: Rebecca Chisholm Sadler, b September 14, 1894 in Coryell City, TX. Dau of Edgar Eddington Sadler and Mollie Lott. Granddaughter of Ira Bradford Sadler, Attorney and State Senator, and Rebecca Chisholm, dau of the Chisholm Trail Chisholms. Mollie Lott Sadler was Postmaster of Osage from 1900 to 1907, and again from 1911 to 1924. She is buried in the Osage Cemetery beside her parents Aaron B. and Mary A. Barron Lott.
