Hi Everyone, I have not posted this in a while about my DAY family. My g grandparents were William Johnson and Mary Ann HOOSER DAY. They moved to Coryell from Upshur Co. around 1860. Mary's parents were Alexander and Julia Margaret GATES HOOSER. Margaret married Abraham WYATT after Alexander's death. Abraham and Margaret lived in Upshur and later moved to Brownwood. William's parents were Moses and Celia REYNOLDS DAY from Upshur and Troup Co., GA. Moses parents were William and Mary Poley FORMBY DAY and they lived in Halifax, VA. Mary Poley later married William H. MOORE in Oglethorpe, GA arouond 1805. We think that William Day died. Would love to find relatives of these families and share information.
