    1. [TXCORYEL-L] new week

    3. We are about to go into a new week, I hope you have been in a place to enjoy the temperature of the last week as much as we have here in Coryell County! I don't know much new, which isn't all that unusual. There has not been much activity among our list members this week. I suppose you've already found them all! I have had 2 contacts this week that have proven to be connections that arose from my home page, the Ross Website. I have a few kernels of interest for you, a good address to hang onto is the URL for searching our List archives. Maybe someday we will have enough genealogical material in our letters that you will need to look through the old copies! This URL is: http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl One that I found very interesting is a page about the Alamo and a listing of all 189 patriots who lost their lives there, this can be found at: http://members.tripod.com/aries46/alamo.htm Another is a site where Old Photos can be identified, claimed, or donated. They are just getting started but will be a very interesting site to see grow: http://geneagraphx.com/lost_leaves/photo.htm Do you know how to tell if you are taking genealogy too seriously? If you are the only one who shows up at a cemetery research meeting with a shovel! This thanks to MS Julia Case's Missing Links. Wish each and every one of you a good week and may you make many discoveries this week.
