Hi, I am new to the Coryel Co. list. I'm interested in finding information about the family of William Cordra Maples, Jr., who migrated to Coryel Co. in the mid-1800's. His son, and my g-grandfather, was Reuben Amos Maples. His daughter, Maidie Velma Maples, was my grandmother, and was born in Gatesville in the 1880's. The family evidently moved to Bell Co. before 1900. R. Amos was married to Sarah Carter. They are buried in Little River-Wilson Valley Cemetery.
