I am trying to determine if the William and Mattie Bruce in the 1880 Coryell Co.Census are the parents of Avis Amanda Bruce born 5 June 1880. I have yet to find an Avis or Amada in the 1880 census. I figure she was born after the census was taken. Avis married Charles Elmer Myer/Meyer in Belton, Bell Co. in 1898. Any help from any Bruce researchers or any one who may know of or have Coryell Co. resource books that won't mind doing a lookup on this Bruce family is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sarah
