James Logan lived in Arnett, Coryell County, Texas when I was a child in the 50's. James Logan's son, Vernon Logan, bought the small rock house for his parents from money he saved while in the service during WWII. His daughter and Son in law, Gladys and Bee Thompson, (my grandparents) moved into his little rock house in Arnett in the early 50's to help care for Laura, his wife, who was ill. After Grandma Laura passed away they stayed and cared for him until his death. They ( the Thompson's) lived in the Logan's little rock house until about 1988 when they sold it and moved to Evant. I was in Coryell County in 1998 and the house is still there although no one lives in it now. Dad told me he remembers his Grandpa Logan having a BlackSmith shop down the road from the house in Arnett in the late 40's. I would like to make contact with anyone related to or researching this family in Coryell County.
