JONES and family migrated to Coryel Co., TX from Pike Co., AL between 20 Nov. 1882 and 4 Feb. 1885. At the time of the move, the family consisted of L. R. his wife Nancy Joanna DARBY b. 15 April 1861 in Pike Co., AL, and four sons, all born at Troy, Pike Co., AL: James J. b. 23 Aug. 1876, Henry Darby b. 20 Dec. 1878, Thomas Reatherford b. 21 Nov. 1881 and William David b. 20 Nov. 1882. Children born to L. R. and Nancy in Coryel Co. were Frank B. b. 4 Feb. 1885, Betty Iona b. 26 July 1887, Carrie Belle b. 23 Feb. 1890, Nettie b. 25 Aug. 1891, John Baptist b. 14 Jan. 1895, and Horace Benjamin b. 14 Nov. 1897.
