    3. I am Nancy Kathleen Bradford-Reid, in Austin. I am researching William Jefferson Davis Bradford (Sr.) and his wife Nancy Catherine Young. William was born 1862 in Berrien County, GA and came to Texas with his family after the war. His father, William Wesley Bradford was killed in the Civil War, so he came with his mother Mary Christina Peeples and his stepfather, Absolom Daniel Dixon and three siblings, Jesse, David, and Lucinda, as well as his maternal grandmother, Polly Peeples. William died 1935, aged 73, in Harlingen. Nancy Catherine Young was born 1868 in Sugar Loaf Community, died 1907, aged 38, Killeen. Their children were: William Jefferson Davis, Jr. (died before the age of 2), Mittie, Edith, (Thomas ?), Ora, Vida, William Joseph David (my grandfather), Howell, and Mary Lou.
