Happy Holidays, listers! I am still searching for any information about the ancestors of James Harold ALLEN, who lived in Gatesville from 1873 until his death in 1880. I also would like information about his son, Jesse Allen, b. 1871 in TX, and what happened to him after James's death in 1880. His maternal grandfather, Wm. CRITTENDEN, was granted guardianship of him, but I don't know what happened to him after that. This is my biggest brick wall.
