William A. Hewlett and family lived in Coryell County from sometime in the late 1860's to at least 1884 (he and family are in 1880 census and 1884 tax rolls that are on the net. I believe one of his sons (Thomas) was born in Coryell in 1867, and a daughter (Frances) in 1870, but haven't been able to find the family in the 1870 Census index. I don't believe there were any birth records kept then, but may be mistaken. Any ideas to help me out?
