Bobbie, Congratulations to the Gatesville team! And to you for a job well done on the Coryell Co. Page and list... My family moved to Central Texas anywhere between 1832 and 1870's, into Falls, Bosque, Milam, McClennan, Hamilton, Hayes and Coryell Co's, then migrated West to Coleman, Taylor, Haskell, Jones, etc. as more land was opened for homesteading. Most were farmers, and we still have one in the family, my brother, up at Earth, Lamb Co., Tx. who is good friends with Doug Atchley from Evant... The Coryell Co. names I research are: Armstrong, Davis, Hartgraves, and Sanders...some related lines are McCollum, Kellam, Dunnivan, Alexander, and Weldon. John Weldon Midland, Tx. P.S. Can't help but mention the Rob't E. Lee Rebels from Midland won their 3rd straight State Championship in 5A, something no team has done at the highest classification since Chuck Moser's Warbirds back in the 50's.
