    1. [TXCORYEL] Hope this works!! ( book film # Lds Site)
    2. Douglas Denson
    3. Here goes: At your search engine, type in familysearch.com , when the engine brings up a list of choices, click on "Familysearch Internet Genealogy Service". This will take you to the main page of the LDS site. On the left side of the page, click on " Browse Categories". Next , click on " Libraries". Then, Family History Library Catalog". Then, click on "Place Search". Then type, "coryell" in the top box and "texas" in the optional box. Two choices will come up, click on the first one, "Texas, Coryell". Then, click on "Texas, Coryell Biography". That brings up the title. Click on the title itself. This brings up the details on the book. At the upper right hand of the page click on " View Film Notes". That gives you the page with the film # on it. Instructions on ordering it through your local Family History center are on the left. Frances T Ingmire has done an index on this book. I wonder if it could be found through inter-library loan?? Hope this helps. Rose

    2. Hi Kirby, Haven't posted anything in a while. The book sounds very interesting. I'm trying to figure out if I would have time to type the index. My dad and I are going to come up next year; probably in late June. I still have the directions "posters" were kind enough to supply, so we should be able to find the Coffey Cemetery where the Williams and Painters are buried. I've heard of the cemetery all of my life, but have never been there. Taking the camera for sure!!! Everyone take care and have a good Labor Day weekend! Linda Reasor

    2. I'd like a copy too. I've seen this book in the Clayton Library, here in Houston and it appears useful. John

    3. This is not Goodspeed, but should be in most genealogical libraries. the title is "McLennan, Falls, Bell and Coryell Counties, Texas" there is no author, people were invited to submit bios and those were compiled. It was published in 1893. Most are rather exaggerated or glorified versions of people who, at that time, were considered movers and shakers.
