Bobbie, Thank you for your response. I believe from information that I have found today that the James K. Brim that was born in 1894, may be a connection to my Georgia Ann Brim. His father, I believe, was her brother. Christopher Brim's father was also James K. Brim (the one mentioned in the 1890 Veterans schedule. It will take some more detective work, but I believe I am on the right track. James K. Brim on the veterans schedule would have been the grandfather of the James K. brim born there in 1894. Is there any tombstone for James K. Brim, born around 1845? Thank you for your response to my question. I have been trying to track down my Brim family for a long time. Now finally, I think maybe I have some leads. Thanks again. I appreciate all the hard work that you do. Sandy
Sorry, I don't have a record of tombstones for the Thompsons in Coryell County. The Coryell County Families book has a story about James K. Brim born 1894 the eldest of ten children born to Christopher Thomas and Martha Elizabeth Brown Brim. She was born 1876 and died 1950. She suffered from asthma. She had some type of medicine that she would put in a bowl, strike a match to it, take it outside and breathe in the smoke that came from it. It didn't catch on fire but would smoke. Do you know what this was or have you heard of it? It really helped her asthma. I sent this to several lists. I apologize if you are getting this on multiple lists. Sandra

I just know there has to be someone out there that knows of my gggrandfather. Wilson Rogers b. January 22, 1843 in Mississippi and died May 26, 1899 in Coryell Co., Texas. Both of Wilson's parents were born in Mississippi. Didn't families usually migrate together? I do find a James C. Rogers on the 1880 Coryell County census, his age is 30 so he was born about 1850 and his wife's name is Isabella(27) and their children are Willard W.(9),Mary M.(6), Zana I.(4) and Robert H. (2). Does anyone know of this family? James C. was born in Mississippi and so were his parents, just coincidence? Could this be Wilson's younger brother? What does that W in his son's name stand for? I can first account for Wilson in texas in the 1860's but he could have been here before this time. His first child was born in 1867 and he married Sarah Elizabeth Williamson before this birth in Coryell County, so maybe the mid 1860's. Wilson's children: Daniel Martin Stephen Edgar Ernest William Thomas Marion Allen George Washington Wilson Lela? Please help me!

I would like to know if anyone knows the whereabouts or directions to Pearl Cemetery in Coryell County? Some of my Williamson ancestors are buried there and I'd like to see their headstones. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Everybody, It is my understanding that the new history book will be ready in about six months. They are in the process of typing up all of the histories, etc. While I'm at it, I am looking for Annie Burns who married a Hackney. Still have not been able to find anything on "Preacher Burns", the father to Annie, Lillie, Mary Susie(our great- grandmother), or John(known as "Bud") Burns. If anybody out there is researching the Burns, Bruton, Lynch, or Hackney lineage, please contact me. Thank You, Cindy Foerster email: cindyed@world-net.net
I'd like this info also.... Linda
