The 1920 federal census of Gainesville City, Cooke County, Texas shows Albert, age 77, living with daughter's family, Jessie and Hurbert Schafer (Name may be misspelled. Census is difficult to read). Children of Hurbert and Jessie were Harry, Albert, William, and Jack. Hurbert's occupation was Brakeman. Pickering, married a lady whom we know only as initials J.A. Wood, 1875, in Gainesville, Cooke Co., TX. To date we've not been able to locate any of this ladies sibblings, parents, etc. Would you happen to have this lady in your Woods database somewhere? She was probably born circa 1855-60. If not, please keep her in mind while conducting your research. I do know that J.A. and John D. lived in the northwest corner of Cooke County at a place called Saddler's Bend, near the Red River. I wish you well with your research. Thanks a lot, Wendy
