Looking for any descendants of the following PIERCE/PEARCE/PURCE/all variant spellings, families: Nathan P., Thomas M., William G., Washington, and John P. Pierce/Pearce. All 5 were living in Grayson Co from about 1849 on and had fairly large families, it's believed some of them moved into Cooke Co after 1850. Also searching for descendants of Samuel M. MCKAY and his wife, Malinda nee PIERCE/PEARCE, also living in Grayson Co from 1849 on. There is a probate record in Cooke Co for the estate of Samuel MCKAY, administrator Wesley PIERCE, that I believe might be the same Samue McKay who was married to Malinda.
