Hello list, Do any of you that live out there in Cooke Co., Tx. know of an old cemetery called Mt. Hope Cemetery? My g.g.grandmother and her new husband, James H. Calvert (her 1st husband, my g.g.grandfather was killed in the Civil War) and family moved out there in 1866, to Gainseville. She died in their home in 1874 and was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery. Is that a cemetery of on its own accord or is it like one of those country church cemeteries? One day I would like to go out there and visit her grave.
